Triangle Restaurant Week in Raleigh: Taste Northern Italian All Week Long

Triangle Restaurant Week is a great way for guests from across the Triangle to indulge in our wonderfully delicious authentic Italian cuisine. With lunch ($15) and dinner ($30) per person, our popular Tuscany Italian gourmet restaurant offers quite a value. (This does not include beverages, tax, or gratuity.) Again, this one-week celebration of culinary excellence starts tomorrow January 26 and lasts until February 1.

At Mia Francesca in Raleigh, we take great pride in having a true farm-to-table experience, serving only the freshest of ingredients. If you have never visited our Tuscany-influenced Trattoria, this is the perfect week. For the first course, diners can begin with a crisp Caesar salad or our Zuppa Minestrone soup featuring fresh winter vegetables or, at dinnertime; our Bruschette alla Romano with garlic toast, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and olive oil. All three are favorites here in Midtown Raleigh at North Hills.

While mingling with fellow guests at white linen tables, our second course will arrive in all of its tasty glory. Our professional kitchen staff, led by Executive and Iron Chef Zack VanGaasbeek, prepares everything with perfection in mind.

Mia Francesca offers five mouth-watering main course options for Triangle Restaurant Week (TRW):

  • Spaghetti Bolognese: beef, pork, and veal meatballs along with fresh herbs, tomato basil sauce, and Parmigiano Reggiano
  • Panino alla Parmigiano: breaded chicken breast topped with tomato basil sauce and mozzarella served on ciabatta (lunch)
  • Insalata di Cavolfior: roasted cauliflower, arugula, endive, radiccio, golden raisins, and pear-walnut vinaigrette (lunch)
  • Pollo alla Romano: roasted chicken breast with garlic, shallots, rosemary, lemon, olive oil and roasted potatoes (dinner)
  • Salmon Caponata : grilled salmon, eggplant, winter squash, currants, capers, fennel, olive oil (dinner)

Finally, finish your culinary experience with a divine dessert. Mia Francesca offers the Italian classic Tiramisu with ladyfingers soaked in espresso and rum with mascarpone cheese and cocoa. Alternatively, at dinner, guests can have our vanilla-mascarpone Cheesecake with graham cracker crumble topped with raspberry sauce and vanilla anglaise. A sweet ending to a pleasurable dining experience!
