The Best Brunch Menu in the Triangle

Monday, September 15th, 2014

Brunch-Salads-Raleigh-NCDuring this lovely late summer season, Mia Francesca Trattoria welcomes our guests to enjoy our bountiful Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our popular brunch menu brings people from all over to enjoy this wonderful experience. We also feature fine farm to table daily selections for lunch and dinner as well.

Our delicious Frittata Saltimbocca is quite a mouthful to say, yet totally worth requesting every time for our Brunch. This Italian dish at Mia Francesca Trattoria is incredibly delightful. Frittata in Italian roughly translates to “egg-cake” and complementing the baked frittata style eggs are farm fresh vine ripe tomatoes, fontina, and arugula. Saltimbocca translates from Italian to English in a fun way as “jumps in the mouth” (meaning your taste buds awaken to its amazing flavors) and it includes our prosciutto and fresh sage. A creamy basil hollandaise covers this delightful meal.

Our quenching brunch drinks include seasonal libations, fresh juices, and milk. With any of our tasty brunch selections, we offer a variety of savory side dishes:

  • Ciabatta Toast
  • Bacon (cooked how you like it)
  • Italian Sausage
  • Two Eggs (Any Style)
  • Fresh Fruit
  • House Fried Potatoes
  • Cheesy Polenta
  • Prosciutto di Parma
  • Fluffy Pancakes

Our Brunch menu extends beyond traditional breakfast to include homemade salads, pizza, pasta, and Panini. Crisp, fresh salads like our wonderful Caesar Salad or our Piselli Insalata which shows off our farm-fresh pea pods, tomatoes, and cucumbers are a great part of brunch. Many of our guests enjoy our authentic Italian Salsiccia Pizza with fennel sausage, sundried tomatoes, goat cheese, and mozzarella. Savor our classic Spaghetti and Meatballs in an authentic Italian tomato basil sauce; it is a true favorite. Finally, try our delicious Pollo Parmesan Panini with breaded chicken breast, tomato basil sauce, and shredded mozzarella on toasted ciabatta bread along with fries. With so much to choose from, including $ 3 Mimosa/ Bellini and our mouthwatering Calamari, we make the weekend an epicurean delight for everyone who visits and enjoys.

All of our guests agree that Mia Francesca’s is the place to be! Join us here in North Hills soon. We are just off the Raleigh Beltline at exit 8B, Six Forks North (North Hills); 20 minutes from anywhere here in the Triangle. As we get closer to fall, it soon will be the best time of year to see the changing colors across the Triangle and here in Raleigh. Our rustic Tuscan-Italian restaurant is centrally located with shops, boutiques, and a movie theater at the expansive North Hills in Midtown Raleigh.

Brunch Every Weekend in Raleigh Including Easter Sunday!

Wednesday, April 9th, 2014

Easter Veg Grant CochraneMia Francesca Trattoria has always offered wonderful weekend and holiday brunches in North Hills Midtown Raleigh. We want to share that one of the best times for brunch is fast approaching on Easter Sunday, April 20th!

Our Tucsany Italian eatery creates brunches on a weekly basis, virtually every Saturday and Sunday of the year. We always want friends and family to enjoy great choices in one sitting that offer culinary excellence in a rustic atmosphere right in the heart of North Hills. Mia Francesca is located next to the Renaissance Raleigh North Hills Hotel. And as everyone knows, it does not have to be a special occasion to enjoy our family-focused dining experience. In fact, we want you to visit every weekend. You can count on our Northern Italian traditions!

Our unique brunch has recently been featured in the recent Saturday March 29, 2014 eatRaleigh Blog.  The local dining post discusses the fact that the Mia Francesca Brunch is its “favorite meal of the week”. When describing our eclectic array of selections, eatRaleigh writes, “Par for the course with their portion sizes, Mia Francesca’s brunch menu is massive. Not only is there an entire page of entrees to choose from, but the menu also includes a long list of brunch appetizer options.”

One of the weekend brunch favorites, Eggs Amatriciana Al Forno features baked eggs with pancetta, Spanish onions, tomato basil sauce, grilled ciabatta bread, and shaved pecorino tartufo. “The Amatriciana is the type of dish that Mia Francesca hangs their hat on, rustic and homey.  It was all of that plus filling and comforting.”

Our authentic Arancini Benedict comes with crispy risotto, soft poached eggs, basil hollandaise, prosciutto di parma, and house fried potatoes. eatRaleigh writes, “Plump crispy risotto cakes replace the typical English muffins with creamy risotto in the middle, the hollandaise sauce, and egg yolk, it was Scrooge Mc Duck rich.”  We think so, too.

eatRaleigh finishes its review of our brunch experience with an accurate description of our guests: “For the Sunday morning meal where hipsters and church-goers meet, Mia Francesca serves as another solid option for the Midtown faithful.”

Remember our Easter Brunch and Lunch happens this Easter Sunday, April 20th.

The Easter holiday traditions are all about family, friends and great food, so bring your favorite people and the little ones to join us at our table. Don’t let this special weekend pass without our Easter Brunch Raleigh experience!

Easter Weekend is almost here! It is less than two weeks away!
